Hello :)
I recently sold my Cricut machine and bought a Silhouette Cameo. I have been totally obsessed with it! So glad I made the trade. And when I saw the new Stuck On You Die Cut challenge for this month, I knew it'd be the perfect chance to try some vinyl.
It cut like buttah.
I had planned to do a big canvas, but the vinyl didn't want to stick, so I am going to have to do some reading on that. In the meantime, I grabbed a small wooden plaque I had, covered it with paper, and used part of my die cut phrases on it.
Very simple.
I die cut some gold doilies, and some teensy fall leaves (Sizzix and Lawn Fawn) and put some distressed gold stickles on both leaves.
Here is a closeup:
These dies from Lawn Fawn are so cute--look at the little perforated lines where the veins of the leaf should be!
I hope you will take part in Stuck On You Sketches Fall themed die cut challenge...
Head on over to SOUS for all the details and to link up your project. Can't wait to see what you create!
Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteI love the mixed fonts and leaves that look like arrows. It has a very modern appeal. Great job!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great home decor piece, Sheila! And I agree, the Cameo is SO much better than the Cricut! I really love mine too!
