Hi there~
Summer sure is a hard time to scrapbook for me...so many great occasions and pictures to document, but I want to be outside all the time. While I haven't scrapped a lot, I've gotten lots of outdoor work done. I've sort of been doing an informal project life binder, but it needs lots of work, so I am not ready to share that yet. However, my current TV addiction is Game of Thrones, so while I was watching an episode, I forced myself to go to the craft room and complete this layout, which I called "Coffee Break":
It is based on a sketch over at My Mind's Eye, and I will be linking up there shortly! Of course, I used lots of MME products, mostly Find Your Wings and Sky's the Limit collections. I'm not sure I LOVE this page, because I almost never use busy backgrounds, but it conveys what I want it to. My teenage daughter is a coffee addict! Iced, hot, sweetened, unsweetened, it doesn't matter. I try to limit her intake, but there are lots of times when she and I aren't together, so...I guess I can't blame her. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree---I am sipping an iced coffee while I write this.
I layered lots of paper, stickers, and even some chipboard.
Thanks so much for stopping in today---!
Great page Sheila!! Love the diagonal striped background and the diagonal design for your photos and embellishments! And the b&w photos look great!
