Well, this one turned out to be a challenge for me which is exactly why I love Design Teams---they make me get out of my comfort zone.
A friend designed this Mickey Shape on her Silhouette, so I decided to cut a bunch of them out of paper and thin chipboard to make an autograph album for my daughter. We have actually never been to Disney, but are planning to go this fall.
She can take this book around the park and get her favorite characters' signatures!
I covered the front with washi tape. I love the red polka dot ribbon---isn't that what Minnie wears?
And one more shot:
This is a little clear plastic star that I got years ago at AC Moore, when acrylic albums were the rage.I traced a paper star, put an "L" for Lucie, and doodled red around the star just to make it pop a little. The key was in a box of goodies from my scrappy friend Audrey. I wanted to add it just as an ornament, but it needed to stand out from the star. So, I wrapped it in red and white twine!
There you have it! Now to remember to bring it to Disney...
In any case, head on over to Stuck on You Sketches to get all the details and participate in this challenge!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
