Five on My Mind: A Layout from Let's Get Sketchy Sketch Inspired Magazine

Hello there!
By now, you have probably seen Let's Get Sketchy's first volume---if for some reason you haven't, you can go here to take a look.
It truly is beautiful and filled with all sorts of inspiration!
Today, I wanted to highlight one of my layouts that appeared in the magazine----
Doing a layout about me is not easy...first of all, I am behind the camera, not in front.  Secondly, if someone does take a picture of me, I hate how it turns out!
In any case, I found this selfie on my phone---it is a running joke in our family how bad my husband and I are at selfies, so I am surprised this one even had my whole head in it!!!
I used Carta Bella's Hello Again collection for this layout.  The colors are really appealing to me.  I also used a Heidi Swapp Stencil and lots of paint and mists!

Quick close-up:

I decided to call it "Five on My Mind", and my journaling consisted of five thoughts that were prevalent in my mind when I composed this layout.

I outlined my letters to make them POP!

Though it wasn't easy, I suppose it will be fun to look back at this layout twenty years from now to read what was important to the younger me...
Do you find it hard to scrap yourself?
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
