The World is Full of Magic Things for Stuck on you Sketches

Hi there!
Today's challenge is to use a die-cut that pertains to magic in some way!
This actually was a super tough one for me...
My kids have always been obsessed with Harry Potter, so I thought it would be easy. But when I started looking at the silhouette store, the only thing I really liked was something you had to print and cut---and there's no WAY I can figure out how to that yet (I only recently purchased my silhouette)!
But then I searched word phrases with "magic" in them, and I found a longish quote, which I shortened to the one below.
I remembered I had some pictures of my little one reading a Harry Potter book---we often went out on the deck this past summer to read!
And I had to add "Just another muggle waiting for a letter"---and if you are a Harry Potter fan, you will know exactly what that means!

Here is a closeup of some of the embellishments I used---the positive and the negative space!  And the wooden glasses are an exact match for her sunglasses!

One more---a closeup of the quote, which I stamped with little dots.

Sometimes the thing you struggle with really does turn out ok in the end.
Head on over to Stuck on You Sketches for all the Hocus Pocus details!

Thanks for stopping by today.

  5. Love it Sheila! The pops of color look great on the wood grain background and I love how you used the long title! And you can go on YouTube to find some tutorials for using the Print & Cut. That's what I did, and it's pretty easy once you get the hang of it!
