Hello there!
It's a new challenge over at SOUS today---nifty fifties! I didn't have any trouble with this one, because I have always been a big fan of the fifties. I sort of wish I'd lived during them.
So, that leads to the title of my layout "it should be my time"!
I used my Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut the large argyle shape as a background for my 50's layout. Then I printed out a picture of a table and chairs I LOVE (did I mention I am a big fan of fifties and sixties decor too) and used lots of fun embellishments from Echo Park's Happy Days collection.
And, this is my favorite part:
I have had this Elvis stamp since high school, I think. I thought it was cool then, so I hung onto it. Talk about how you never know when you might use something! It was the perfect finishing touch!
SO, if this is an era you love as much as I, head on over to Stuck on You Sketches for all the details and to link up your project!
And on a different note, I will choose a winner for the IFS blog hop RAK on Sunday...bust weekend ahead!
Thanks for stopping by today, and have a great weekend!
