Navy, Gray, White --- Oh my!!!

This is an excellent challenge from out Creative Trainer, Diana.  These colors are really lovely together, but boy, it made me realize just how little navy stuff I have!  Anyway, the prize for this challenge is the Lo-cal FITkit.  I just love these little kits...I used lots of stuff from the last Lo-cal FITkit in this layout:  Here it is:

My daughter and I went school shopping and went into one of those cheesy photobooths in the mall.  My daughter was NOT pleased, but at least she faked a nice smile.  There is actually a border of navy blue with white starts around this white, but I couldn't crop it so it looked straight, so I cropped it right out.
So, here are some close-ups and some things from last month's lo-cal FITkit:
All the chipboard hexagons game from the kit---I painted them grey and then misted them with white---so are the hearts---I painted them navy.  The glittery button came in the kit as well.
The tag under the ribbon and the letters also came from the kit!  And that was just the stuff that fit the challenge----there is SO MUCH MORE!!!

So hop on over to ScrapFIT and link up your project.  And, even if you don't win a kit for this challenge, you can go check out Paper Issues for a FITkit or a Lo-Cal Kit---they are worth every penny!

Thanks for stopping by :)

  4. These kits look like so much fun, Sheila! I'm just lovin' your combination of elements here, and what you've done with the pleated ribbon adds such delicious texture!
