ScrapFIT Workout #68: Missy's Mist Mania!

Hello and welcome to my reveal for ScrapFIT Workout #68---Missy's Mist Mania!  I am still learning and getting comfortable with using mist/spray inks.  Here is my layout:
I loved this picture of Lucie looking up, and it reminded me that when I take her (and two of her little friends) home from dance class each week, we always say the old rhyme... "Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish  I might, have the wish I wish tonight!"
I thought it went well with this picture!  The picture is a little dark--sorry!
As for misting, I decided to use a "mask".  I used a sizzix die to cut these stars out of cardboard.
Using the back of the cardboard, (and covering the rest of the paper with scraps), I used the cardboard as a stencil, or mask, for the mist.  I used a greyish silvery mist to spray these stars:
That's exactly how I wanted them---light and subtle.  I stitched around two of them, and then poked holes around the rest to define them!
Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to go to ScrapFIT to enter this month's challenge----
Another wonderful prize this month!

  1. Wow! This is amazing. Mists still intimidate me a little, but you have inspired me to dust them off and use them!
