After a day with two friends over to scrap, I got lots of stuff done, so it's...challenge time! You guessed it! First up,Burlap and Buttercups, DO a layout in Blue and Orange:
Also, I am submitting this to Scrapbookers Anonymous---the letter was "g"---I used a girl with glamour!
This is one of my most favorite pictures of Lucie!
Here's a closeup of a flower I made:
Next up, the Creative Scrappers Sketch Challenge #196:
I had so much fun with the ink splattering on this page---love how it turned out. I'm also gonna enter it at Scrapbooker's Anonymous, where the challenge was to use three hearts and some stitching, and Sketches in Thyme, where the challenge was an Open Sketch!
Last, but not least, is the Burlap and Buttercups sketch challenge:
This one was tough, as I never scrap myself. Honestly, I don't love how I look and also, I rarely step out from behind the camera. However, I liked these pictures that Ellie took of me. I wrote a list of things I had learned in my 41 years. There were 13 items...some funny, some not. I think my kids will really enjoy this once they are older.
I was also supposed to use twine on this layout, which I did on the tag that pulls the hidden journaling out. It was a fun day that unexpectedly ended a bit early, but everything turned out fine. I cherish these laughter filled crop days with my friends!
Thanks for stopping by---wish me luck on winning stuff...oh, btw? That resolve I had not to buy anything new? Well, that's kaput. I placed a big order from Part Time Sally, and also from Pixie Dust Paperie...Kirsty is having a 40% off sale on some of her merchandise! Check it out before it's all gone! And now I am awaiting my packages in the mail and guess what? The snowplow destroyed the mailbox!!!! Aargh!
Well, at least I lasted two whole months without a scrapbook purchase. That's gotta count for something :o)
