Daddy and one of his girls...

I completed this layout in a retreat back in October but I've never gotten around to "blogging" it, and I wanted to because it really showcases the relationship my older daughter has with her dad!  My mother and father were divorced when I was three, and I maybe saw him a few times a year after that.  Even when I did see him, he wasn't exactly a talker.  When he died, I really was sad for the fact that I never REALLY knew him. My children are soooo lucky to have a dad like Tom, who takes an interest in everything in their lives, and loves them fiercely!
But Ellie and Tom are really close and have a lot of the same personality traits and interests.  I love the pictures of them walking away...

I wish I knew what they were talking about...
Love me some Jillibean and Crate Paper...and a touch of burlap never hurts!
I know this layout was based on a sketch from somewhere, but I have an awful memory, so I apologize.
Thanks for stopping by!
