Easy Halloween Banner!

Hello---a quick Halloween craft!  In years past, I haven't felt the urge to decorate for Halloween at all, but for some reaon this year, I am going nuts with the decorations...probaby because I have a six year old who is really excited!  Anyway, I needed to make some more "stuff" and here is what I came up with after a quick trip to JoAnn's:
Three wooden "plaques", a small pack of Halloween paper, and some black paint I already had.Paint the edges of the "plaques".  It doesn't matter if you get black paint on the front, because it will be covered up with paper.
Trace the shape of the wood onto the paper you choose, cut out the paper, and then cover the wooden piece's edges with double sided sticky adhesive.
Carefully place the paper on the wood, and trim off any overage with a craft knife or you could sand it off too.  Then ink your edges with some black ink.
Wow, I guess I didn't really take pictures of the next few steps, but I will describe them....First I stamped a spider web on each piece and embossed it with silver powder.  I threw some stickers on each piece, and glued some scrap ribbon to the top.  I cut some letters out on my cricut and attached those.  I tied a bow out of some cool spider web patterned ribbon and then glued each piece to some black velvet ribbon. You can do almost anything with a hot glue gun!
 Voila---Hung it on some bookcases!
Then, I got a little carried away and made a similar one for my front porch.  Because it was going to be outside, I mod-podged over the paper, and so far, it seems to be holding up in all sorts of weather.

Here is a close-up---I had to add the little numbers!

Thanks for looking!
