New Real at Color Me Scrappy: #55 Fall Fabulous

There's a new reveal today at Color Me Scrappy...you are gonna love it!  The twist is to use the provided sketch. I LOVED both the sketch and the color palette.  Here is what I came up with:

I thought Basic Grey's Persimmon collection matched the color palette extremely well, and I love the color combo of blues and oranges anyway.

This little squirrel was too cute, and I used a very OLD Prima embellie too.  And I used my sketch pen on my Silhouette to make a drawn frame around the picture.  I thought it was too light, so I went over it again my hand using my white pen  (just under the squirrel).

Even though the sketch didn't show this, I felt like I needed to somehow connect the two photos, so I first stamped a bunch of hearts and the word "love" with watermark ink.  But it didn't feel dark enough, so I did it again with a pale blue ink.  Much better.  I love how subtle it is.  You can barely see it in the photo of the whole layout.

Ok, now here is the LOVELY sketch....
And the colors...

Don't you think you need to play along?  Wait till you see what the rest of the DT came up with!
Head over to Color Me Scrappy for all the details...
Can't wait to see what you link up!
