The Perfect View: New Reveal at LGS

Hello!  It's time for another reveal at Let's Get Sketchy...and believe me, I am wishing it was as warm right now as it was when I took the picture in this layout:

I took this picture of my very favorite flowers (Cosmos) from my anti-gravity chair.  I worked a lot on my deck this past summer, so I also tried to spend lots of time enjoying it.  There is something about planting a seed and growing these beautiful flowers that makes me so happy.  Otherwise, I am not really a gardener.

I wanted to add some texture, so I added the crinkled paper, corrugated letters, and some stitching.  I also put a ribbon scrap on---my ribbons have been so neglected since my discovery of washi tape!!!  Part of my title, "the", is stuck to a tiny round mirror.  I bought two packages of these at the craft store, and find that I LOVE using them here and there on layouts.

I used lots of Glitz on this layout---love that I am using up some of the older collections!

Here is the sketch---you can see that I turned the sketch sideways, and used one picture instead of three.  Remember, sketches are a starting point...interpretation is up to you!

I sure hope you link up a project and play along with us this week!
Head over to Let's Get Sketchy for details and to see the rest of the DT's reveal.
Stay warm and enjoy the holiday season.
Thanks for stopping by today!
