New Die Cut Challenge at Stuck on You Sketches: Ornament

Hi there!
This week's die cut challenge at Stuck on You Sketches is a die-cut ornament.
I saw some different projects similar to this on Pinterest, so I decided to try it---I wanted to keep it simple, and to make something I really needed.  I can always use tags for the random little gifts you end up giving---I really love wrapping as much as I love crafting---so the tag can be the perfect topper.

This is so simple.  I cut several circles out with my Silhouette, folded then in half, and glued them together so they would open in an accordion style.  I used some really pretty October Afternoon paper (the red) and a scrap of Crate Paper (the ivory).  I hand cut the gold top.  This tag is a shape that came free with my Silhouette.  The little accents are from Little Yellow Bicycle.  And the ribbon?  It came on my last Paper Issues package.  Cassie always wraps your purchase so prettily.

Just a little closeup of my ornament.

And a little closeup of the embellishments:
Love this little silver poinsettia transparency.

I really enjoy when I make something I can use.
Head over to Stuck on You Sketches to see the full design team reveal---you are sure to be inspired!  Hope you play along with us---wait to see what you link up!
