Sometimes when I buy something, it takes me awhile to use it, and then I forget I have it for awhile. I guess the only good thing about this is that I feel like I am always finding something new! Such is the case with the Creative Scrappers Vol.2 Sketchbook by the fabulous Kristine Davidson. Not only does she design blogs (like mine!), she creates these sketches and is an awesome scrapper in her own right. I sort of rediscovered my sketchbook this weekend when I was uninspired...
Thank goodness I did!
These were some pictures of Lucie bungee jumping when we were in AZ. They were not the best pictures, but I felt they really capture the joy on her face, and I actually really like the one that doesn't even show her face...she was bouncing so fast it was hard to get her face!
I put the pearl in the middle of the camera to sort of stay with the pale theme of this page. I also love this ombre paper! Fun. And a doily is always fun---!
I appreciate Kristine's sketches especially because I tend to scrap one picture at a time. This one really brought me out of the old comfort zone and I really liked the result. I have volume 1 and 2 of these sketches, and they are SOOOOO worth it. You can buy them here.
I will be linking up at About a Girl, where the June 1 challenge was to use a doily!
Also, today over at Ideas for Scrapbookers, I am showing some things I have made with wathercolor pencils. Check it out here.
Thanks for stopping by today---happy Monday:)
