Hi, just a quick layout for you today with several things that are pretty different for me.
This layout was based on a sketch from Sketches With A Twist.
First of all, I usually scrap one larger photo at a time, not lots of littles. Then the twist was to use a rubber stamp somewhere as an embellishment on your page. This was outside my comfort zone . I have a bajillion rubber stamps, but I never use them.
I love this page because I was brave enough to use them everywhere.
The orange zig zags and the gray dots were stamped directly on the paper, and then I stamped the striped chevrons and cut them out. I used some popdots to give some dimension.
I also used way more texture than usual, but I love how it turned out, below. I used a page from a canvas album to lay under my picture. And by the way, SEVERAL things in this layout are from the October LO-CAL FITkit from Paper Issues. You can buy it here.
Ok, so that's my little Lucie, making her skirt twirl around on the first day of school! Thanks so much for stopping by today :-)

WOW Sheila, this page is awesome!! Definitely doesn't look like you were working outside your comfort zone..you rocked it!! LOVE the stamping! I thought the Orange chevrons were Washi Tape at first!! :) The mini photos look great and I love the wide white matting! And the popped up chevron arrows are really fun! And I love the layers you added to the focal photo to make it stand out!!
