This is ANOTHER layout from Washing, D.C. I rarely scrap a picture of myself, as I am always the one behind the camera. This one by my husband turned out ok, though! Lucie's face is a little weird, but what are you gonna do? :)
We were waiting in line at Georgetown Cupcake (Anyone watch D.C. Cupcakes?). There was a giant line for a good reason---their cupcakes are to die for! We had them for dessert that night and for breakfast the next day. Of course, it was about 100 degrees that day, so some of the frosting melted, but we discovered that melted frosting is as excellent as unmelted (just for future reference)!
I used lots of new Basic Grey, and a teensy wood cutout and "highway sign" die cut from one of my LoCal FITkits from Paper Issues.
I'm pretty sure the canvas badge came from Close to My Heart.
I did this sketch based on Sketch 321 from scrapbookingchallenges.com . Unfortunately, something is wrong with their website, so I can't submit it.
It was fun anyway. One of these years I will be done scrapping our Washington trip :)
Thanks for looking!
