A Post-It Failure becomes a Christmas sucess!

If you read my blog with any regularity you will have seen this BRILLIANT project I made a long time ago:
Well, at the time I thought it was brilliant.  Its purpose was to hold all the post-it notes that my husband insists on writing each day.  You know, I got a little sick of them all over my counters and my table.  I think this worked for about a week.  And then we were back to the counters.  And tables.  And cupboards.
I suppose it takes me awhile to admit defeat.  But I have.  I will never change his post-it note ways.  But I can make this into a Christmas decoration for sure.

This was so easy---I think it took me a half hour to make, and a lot of that was deciding on papers, etc.
I stamped this saying on stiffened burlap, and then used lots of October Afternoon paper and chipboard pieces from last year's Santa Sacks.  I love it!  I actually saw something similar to this in a local gift shop but refused to pay $20 for it!!!   I'm cheap like that.
I did have to take the glass out.

SO, if you have a frame laying around, give this a try!  It was fun and looks festive hanging in my kitchen...surrounded by the post-it notes.
