Friday Try-Day

Hello and Happy Friday!
What a strange week this has been...I received news that due to the sad state of the budget, I will be out of a job next year...I will miss my kids and my friends, but I also think that maybe it was time to move on...it is definitely bittersweet.  Needless to say, with all of that on my mind this week, I was not really inspired to craft a thing. I couldn't even find any craft stuff on PINTEREST that grabbed me.
And so, since I have done my share of moping and whining this week, I thought I would try to inspire myself and you with some humor...
This is how I felt this week.  I should've worn this around my neck to warn my family.  Sorry, family.
This is what I felt like doing this week, only not with such cute puppies.
Then I started cheering up after I found these cups.  My friends and I---our favorite saying is "Put a bird on it!
And really.  Then I giggled outright.  This man is one of the funniest of all time.  And do you remember these pictures?  I think mine was that way in fifth grade.  And I am pretty sure they were called "reflections".
Just look at the expressions.  Thanks Will.  You helped me out a lot this week!
So, I am sorry for not posting craft inspiration...I hope to be back to my regulary self soon!  Have a wonderful weekend and St. Paddy's Day!

  3. So sorry to hear of your news, Shiela. Maybe it is time for you to move on with your craftiness. You'll certainly have more time to do it! Change is never easy, but sometimes good comes out of it. So thanks for sharing your woes and create a LO about it
