A Fall, Some Nausea, and Scrapping, OH MY!

Well, it has been an interesting Christmas Vacation....a couple of days before, I took a lovely (sarcasm) fall down the stairs.  I had to miss two days of school, but by Chrismas, I was feeling much better.  We had a wonderful Christmas here, with old friends and family. Two nights later found me throwing up for several hours....what the heck?  It took me two days to recover from that.  And then yesterday, finally feeling AWESOME, I was sorting some clothes.  I bent to pick up a SHIRT, a lightweight shirt, and I did something to my back that almost defies description!  It's hell getting old, people!

Anyway, I was able to fit some crafting in between pain and vomiting, and I received some wonderful news...I won a sketch challenge over at Burlap and Buttercups!  I won a nifty prize of beautiful trims!

If you haven't been to this site, it is a really cool kit club---love their stuff.  They also have a blog with challenges. I bought some of their older kits on clearance and those are what I used to complete my layout. Here is the winner (blogged about it the other day)!

 I was lamenting to a friend that since my time on Sketchabilities is over, I was really hoping to have some other teams to participate on...and lo and behold, the very day the last Sketchabilities challenge went live, I received an email with some very good news.....
