What have I done to my daughter?

The assignment was for our family to make a turkey together.  Well, lately Dad's had lots of meetings, and my going on thirteen year old can't be bothered, so it was me and Lu.  She wanted a "girly" turkey, all in pinks and purples.  I made her the shoes and the vest, and I cut out several feathers.  She glued and punched and arranged and named her turkey "Sassy Sandy".
After an hour and a half of this, I kept saying, are we done?  And she would say, no, I want glitter glue on her bow.  Are we done?  No, I want her to have a necklace with a diamond on it.  Are we done?  No, I want...you get the idea.
Well, here is Sassy Sandy in all her glory:
I bet all the other families did things in nice fall colors, and maybe added cheerios and pinecones and lentils and things they found on their long family walks through the woods.  Not my kid.  She added a gold crown with jewels on it.  This turkey even has blingy bracelets!
I think I have created a monster.  And I am not talking about the turkey!
Thanks for looking at all this girliness:o)
